Norlana: NEOM Magna's Year-Round Yachting and Beach Community

A guide to Norlana, the Magna yachting and beach community at NEOM with marina, residences, and a beach club along the Gulf of Aqaba.

Norlana is the yachting and residential destination of the Magna cluster at NEOM. Built around a marina on the Gulf of Aqaba, Norlana combines a working yacht harbour, a private beach club, a residential community, and hospitality programming aimed at long-stay boaters and second-home buyers.

At a glance

  • Location: Gulf of Aqaba coastline, NEOM region.
  • Programme: marina, residences, beach club, hotel, retail and dining.
  • Position: a year-round residential and yachting community within the wider Magna luxury portfolio.

The marina

Norlana’s marina is designed for owners and guests who base their boats in the Gulf of Aqaba year-round. Berthing accommodates a range of boat sizes, with deepwater capacity for superyachts. Adjacent service facilities support fuelling, provisioning, maintenance, and crew accommodation.

The marina is positioned within the broader Red Sea and eastern Mediterranean yachting circuit, with cruising access to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal and into the Indian Ocean to the south.

The residential community

The Norlana residential programme is targeted at long-stay residents and second-home buyers. Residences are organised in low-rise clusters with shared landscape and amenity, plus a smaller number of standalone villas along the waterfront.

Programming for the community includes a clubhouse with dining, fitness, and pool facilities, plus easy access to the marina and beach club. The aim is to function as a complete community rather than a holiday-only destination.

The beach club

The Norlana beach club is the social anchor of the destination. The club features beachfront cabanas, restaurants and bars, swimming pools, watersport facilities, and a wellness pavilion. The club is positioned as a destination both for residents and for selected day visitors arriving by yacht or shuttle.

The hotel and short-stay accommodation

Alongside the residential community, Norlana includes a hotel and short-stay accommodation. The hotel serves both visitors exploring the wider NEOM region and residents hosting guests. Programming includes signature restaurants, a spa, and access to the same beach and watersport facilities used by the community.

How Norlana fits in Magna

Norlana plays a particular role in the Magna portfolio: a residential and yachting community rather than a pure resort. Where Epicon delivers the iconic skyline and Siranna the integrated cove retreat, Norlana offers a long-stay base for those who want to make NEOM a recurring home or boating base. Its presence diversifies Magna beyond resort hospitality.
