Epicon is the headline destination of the Magna cluster on the Gulf of Aqaba. Two iconic towers rise from a rocky promontory on the NEOM coast, with the taller reaching 225 metres. The destination combines ultra-luxury hotel accommodation, branded residences, a private beach club, and over-water villas.
At a glance
- Location: rocky promontory on the Gulf of Aqaba coast, NEOM region.
- Towers: two, with the taller at 225 metres.
- Programme: hotel keys, branded residences, over-water villas, beach club.
- Position: ultra-luxury, design-led.
The two towers
Epicon’s architecture is anchored by two slender towers rising from the coast. The taller of the two houses an ultra-luxury hotel across multiple stories, with rooms and suites oriented to the Gulf of Aqaba and the mountains behind. The shorter tower contains branded residences, offering a long-stay alternative to the hotel.
The towers are clad in a material designed to reflect the changing light of the coast across the day, shifting in colour from sunrise to sunset.
The hotel
The Epicon hotel offers a full ultra-luxury programme: oversized suites, private terraces with sea views, a signature restaurant collection, two spas, multiple swimming pools, and dedicated butler service. Every room has a clear view of the Gulf of Aqaba.
Over-water villas
A line of 14 over-water villas extends from the promontory into the Gulf of Aqaba. Each villa has direct sea access, a private plunge pool, and uninterrupted views across the water to Egypt’s Sinai coast. The villas are positioned as the most exclusive accommodation in the Magna portfolio.
Beach club
Epicon’s beach club occupies a private cove at the base of the towers. The club includes a beachfront restaurant, beachside cabanas, watersports facilities, and access to diving and snorkelling in the surrounding reef system.
Residences
The Epicon residential programme is operated as branded residences under the same management as the hotel. Buyers gain access to hotel services, the spa, and the beach club, while owning a long-term apartment with sea views.
Dining
Epicon’s restaurant line-up features a roster of international chefs. The opening line-up spans Mediterranean, Levantine, and Japanese-influenced cuisines, with restaurants in the towers, on the beach, and in dedicated dining pavilions on the promontory.
How Epicon fits in Magna
Epicon is one of the headline destinations of the Magna cluster, alongside Siranna, Utamo, Leyja, Aquellum, Norlana, and Xaynor. While each Magna destination has its own architectural identity, Epicon’s role is the iconic statement: the dramatic skyline image that anchors the Magna portfolio’s communication.
